Welcome to SJS dance where we specialize in all forms of Hip Dance! We offer classes, recreation teams and competitive teams.
We are the home of the 2019 National Champions, Mini Chill.

Hip hop classes
We offer Hip Hop Classes for those who are just looking for a weekly commitment, without being on a team at the competitive level.

Tiny Hip Hop Class: This class is a basic introduction to Hip Hop Dance for the little ones, ages 3-6, with a strong focus on music. This class meets weekly for 45 minutes.
Tuesday 6:30-7:15PM

Youth Hip Hop Class: This class is an intermediate level class for boys and girls, ages 7-12. This class meets weekly for 60 minutes.

Recreational
Overview: The SJS Recreational Dance Team is for dancers ages 4-16 years old. Our teams are split by age and skill level. The Recreation Dance Teams practice 1x per week, attend 4 local competitions and perform at the SJS Finale. The Recreation Dance season runs from September through April. This program is perfect for families and dancers seeking a more minimal time and financial commitment than the Competitive Level Dance Teams.

Overview: The SJS Competitive Dance Team is for dancers ages 4-16 years old. Our teams are split by age and skill level. The Competitive Dance Teams practice 2x per week, attend 5+ local competitions and perform at the SJS Finale. The Competitive Dance season runs from September through June, and ends with Nationals in late June/early July. This program is perfect for dancers with prior competition experience.
